Dunno if any of you have heard this, but the same French site that broke the news about Wii U's tablet controller and the Vita name is saying that Nintendo plans to freakin' re-launch the 3DS with a de-emphasis on 3D and maybe even a new name. Supposedly, Nintendo is also rethinking their idea of making the system with only one analog stick (or nub or whatever); they are considering adding a second stick, either as part of a re-designed system or as some kind of cheap add-on. Dunno how the latter idea would work.
The same site is reporting that various third parties are having trouble with the Wii U controller - specifically, with the wireless interface. The controllers and dev kits aren't working properly, the devs say.
Now please remember, these are RUMORS and should be taken with a huge brick of salt, but holy crap if true. What a belly-up.
