Sounds about right, Unova hates Pikachu, Ash hates Tranquil, Oshawott is the star, Swadloon and Palpitoad are rarely used strong pokemon, Snivy is strong but gets loses to show how strong the opponent is and Tepig is just there.
I was actually surprised by Snivy and Tepig. I thought Snivy would've been better and Tepig worse. I think it's just that Snivy hasn't actually been used in that many trainer battles, even though it's always seemed highly competent in other episodes its been used in. The opposite is true for Tepig, in that it's been less competent in other episodes.
