In general, I think Cartoon Cartoons held up better. Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab and Sheep in the Big City seem even funnier to me nowadays! I think CN's shows tried harder to appeal to all ages, whereas I think many of Nick's shows were kid-only ordeals.
I haven't seen Johnny Bravo in a very long time, but I know Dexter's Lab definitely holds up. Out of curiosity, I watched the first 5 mins of a Cow and Chicken episode "On Demand" last week and couldn't handle it. It's much worse than I remember, and at it's best it was a Ren & Stimpy wannabe. Imitation Ren & Stimpy is just a bad idea.
