I disagree, Konerko is more of a catalyst to his team and more important to their success than Bautista is to his team. Many of each team's offensive stats are similar except slugging and run production. Konerko and Bautista each have similar individual stats as well, so that's shows you whose club not only has players that hit for more XBH but also have better situational hitting in run-producing opportunities. When Konerko is in a bit of a slump, the White Sox definitely feel it a lot more than the Blue Jays if the same happens to Bautista
