So apparently they needed 15k to treat the injured person. They got a lot of extra money. They signed an ambiguous contract over the donations. Escapist says that the contract means that any extra money goes to either the production of new episodes or just handed over to them. The extra guys say they get to do whatever they want so long as it's associated with the show, which the publisher apparently is.
So uh...yeah.
