...yeah after reading the top part, the song's basically one the Yakuza guy already knows and has aced it, while bartz doesn't know it. bard or not, for KARAOKE advantage goes to the person who's better familiar and has killed the song before.
doesn't help that Bartz totaly doesn't have a voice for rock. if it's backstreet boys he can do it. but not against a pro of the song. and karaoke machines didn't exist back then. so he can sing, doesn't mean he'd be good at this song. so yakuza guy.
