I was easily the best smash player in my whole school back in high school, but once Brawl came out and I started facing some board 8ers here I learned I was only mid-tier at best, usually low tier.
yeah this is pretty true
all you need in order to have an advantage over the majority of players who aren't competitive is knowledge of what each of your moves are and what each of your opponents' moves are
