Only ever played Smash, and Brawl was my first foray into some "professional" playing. I did ok for a beginner, and I think I have a future if the online existed. Too boring to play otherwise so I was get into one of these new-fangled games.

Watched some of EVO and here's what I think of these games just by watching. Obviously there's only so much info I can glean from them.

Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition
Looked the most fun, I've played SFII back in the day so I'm relatively familiar with this too. Matches took a good amount of time and I liked the style.

Tekken 6
Also played some of Tekken, though I remember it being more....flashy? I swear I did things like grabs and some more complex combos, these guys just kinda...spaced and threw punches. Never liked the air juggling either. But I have to say watching this against the others really made me appreciate 3D fighters.

Blazblue
Don't know what version this way, but it looked cool. Looks a little slow though, and I kinda don't like how it seems like they just got into huge air juggling combos to do most of the damage.

Mortal Kombat
For some reason this reminded me the most of Smash. So I guess I liked it, but I'm also a little turned off by how unpolished it looks comparatively to the rest. The breakers looked cheap.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3
Yeesh. Never liked the 3v3 stuff, and it just looks so hectic. Not to mention I hate the idea of a forced comeback mechanic, and the way it seems like everyone loses their health in one quick combo, unlike the long ones of Blazblue that look at least difficult to pull off. Party game.

Soul Calibur V
I was a beast at II so maybe I should just wait for this to come out.
