Episode 6: The First Commandment

I nearly choked on my food when I saw those silly head covers...literally (o_o) faces...except far more comical. I can not take them seriously now.

I like some of the little details they do. Like carter mentions there being no birds and we also hear the planet has high UV rays which would fry birds and anything else trying to live too long in the sun.

Oh...nice...riiiight as Hanson starts beating on the dude, some guys come by the foreground with a log conveniently blocking the assumed hits.

Hanson: "Please, sit down".

Coincidence? Probably.

Damnit Sam, pull the trigger. He is a crazy and you are just prolonging the plot and continuing the confusion on how women should behave!

-_-

While the general plot is a bit...bleh...Teal'c and that random dude being god betrayal buddies was lulz.

I also like how "This is solid rock" is the cue for Teal'c to get his staff mojo working...and that sounded less perverted in my mind.

Oh wow...it made a perfect circular hole...such a precision tool those staff weapons >_>

Plot goes as expected and we all learn a valuable lesson that playing god is bad. We also learn that shields work by trickling down spherically from an arc because somehow that is a sensical thing for the color orange to do. O'Neill also tells us that killing is wrong. Unless they are bad guys, then it is totes ok. Pew pew pew dead goa'uld~

They never did explain those silly head coverings did they. Were they supposed to be rock? Primitive UV blocking? That would...make decent sense actually.
