1.If you like Steve Nash then you should LOVE this move. His best chances for a title were:
Thunder(already have a PG)
Heat(Can't afford him)
Spurs(already have a PG)
Boston(already have a PG)
Chicago(Already have a PG)
The Lakers were the best option.
2.The Lakers could've won Games 2 and 4 against Oklahoma City. Don't forget this. Nash can't play defense but neither could Sessions. The difference is is that Nash adds EVERYTHING the Lakers need:
Fast Break(we've been bottom of the league for years)
Pick and Roll(Again, piss poor)
The ability to pass to Bynum/Pau in good situations
Penetration not involving Kobe/Someone to bring the ball up not named Kobe
and most importantly, SOMEONE WHO CAN ACTUALLY SHOOT. We can spread the floor now. No more collapsing the paint against Kobe/Bynum.
This is literally the best day of the year. The Lakers just went from 16-1 to 8-1 for the title
