Or "Dumars lost his damn mind in 2008 and hasn't got it back since."

Trade the highly efficient PG for the highly inefficient SG.
Trade away two productive role players (one of which spent the last three years outplaying our $25 million a year SG combo in Gordon and Hamilton) for nothing.
Sign two average players for huge contracts, watch as one falls apart and the other gets fatter.
I could go on.

And what exactly indicates that Knight is a good player? There's nothing other than "potential" that magical word used to describe crap players that are young enough where people think they'll stop being crap. His efficiency is below average, he did a lousy job getting to the line (2.3 FTAs per 36 minute) had an offensive rating on 97 and a defensive rating of 109 (worst on the team), only 0.8 steals per 36, 1.44 assist to turnover ratio.

Knight looked lousy last year, and it's largely in-line with his year at Kentucky (only thing different is that he had more FTAs per game in college).

I don't like Knight one bit. He's another combo guard the Pistons want to force to play PG, and it's going to work just as well as it's worked the last few times. F*** this s***.
