This I'll completely agree with. Game of Thrones and Lost both had a much better establishment of a very large cast of characters while keeping action and drama and suspense intact, with Game of Thrones doing it over even more locations than The Wire (since The Wire's pretty much Major Crimes & Low-Rises right now).
