The Kid wins in 3 seconds! Volkoff finished the anthem them KABLAMO DROPKICK OFF THE TURNBUCKLE AND KID WIIIIIIIIIIINZ.

Savage gets the whole entrance with liz and not that big an inital pop for some reason.
Putzki got a small clap.Randy is heavily favoured to win this even for the commentators.

This match is already better than everything the rest have done because it has gone on for longer than a minute and both workers are good.
This is also face vs face but both guys are going at it. Wait what, BS! what the hell is this, DBS injures himself out of the match, Steamboats is awarded the win via DBS being unable to continue.

JYD! JYD! JYD! Dawg with da comeback crowd goes nuts and Sheik begging for mercy. OH MAh gawd THE CLUTCH IS ON! DAWG IS FIGHTING IT!
Sheik gives up the hold and goes back to working on him. Sheik got distracted by the ref allowing for JYD to win, YAY!
Moondog Spot vs Terry Funk
Funk is awesome he's trying to convince Moondog for a draw, FUNK DOUBLR CROSSES MOONDOG BUT MOONDOG RUSHES BACK IN TIME!
Funk is out in round 1 but he's furious and is now destroying Spotty with the help of Jimmy Hart but Moondog escapes.
this tournament sucks so far man, though I'll forgive em for time constraints.
Tito Santana vs Magnificent Muraco
Muraco is huge man, making Santana look like a vanilla midget. Santana is the intercontinental champion.
Apparently this tournament is worth a ton o cash what with Ventura always pimpin' out em dollars.
This isn't too bad, but its not great either and Muraco beats the IC champ with a bodyslam and Tito gets a small package on muraco and wins since it turns out Tito's foot was under the rope.

Cowboy Bob Orton vs Paul Orndorff
Mr Wonderful is the face, which feels kinda weird since he worked heel at mania one, which happens a lil bit after this i think.
so Mr Wonderful is great, good to know, man the hair aside, this young Bob Orton's facial features are exactly the same as his son's.
They saved the best for last in round 1 matches!
