#12:

Steve Austin becomes the #2 guy to become a multiple WotY, Bret's domination is totally legit.

1988: Rick Rude
1989: Bret Hart
1990: Bret Hart
1991: Bret Hart
1992: Bret Hart
1993: Bret Hart
1994: Bret Hart
1995: Bret Hart
1996: Shawn Michaels
1997: Steve Austin
1998: Mankind
1999: The Rock
2000: Kurt Angle
2001: Steve Austin

Previewing 2002:

Chris Jericho as the undisputed champion has a good shot at being the WotY, he's very athletic and good in the ring and should stay in the main event scene which by now features a nice collection of talent.

Stone Cold Steve Austin: He's great in the ring and the reigning WotY, never count him out.

Kurt Angle: Had a really hot run in the middle of the year and was probably number 2 in last year's race.

Rob Van Dam: Few wrestlers can do what he does and that is take over a match to the point where you can only remember him. He's screaming star right now and a good run could have him in contention.

Undertaker: The heel turn was a start, because Undertaker was in the running for worst wrestler of 2001, he's usually been very consistent and he's had some hot years so maybe the change of pace helps his match quality again.
