Yeah, it's unfortunate that both A) My laptop at the time when I made last year's list is kaput and B) My iPod, which had all 100 songs on it, was lost/stolen. and I guess C) There's no reliable gamefaqs forum archive that I know of. So I have no way of checking last year's list.

The only one that looks familiar is "EXEC_Z", but I'm pretty sure I'm remembering seeing "EXEC_SPHILIA"...and upon listening to EXEC_Z it does not sound familiar. I listened to the other 4 noms and they don't sound familiar either.
Oh, SPHILIA definitely was on the last list. SPHILIA is pretty much my favorite VGMusic (although Godsibb is in a virtual tie with it) so I'm pretty much a lock to nominate those two in any topic like this. It's after those two where I can't be sure what I nominated. I think in that last run of ranking topics my general format was something like: SPHILIA, Godsibb, SotA / Fate, [Some .hack//G.U. Song], [Random].
It's those last two I was unsure about what I may have nominated for, because I know I've used different songs in those slots across a lot of the ranking topics that appeared so I have no idea what I picked in any specific ranking topic.
Also, I re-listened to SPHILIA and it is still awesome.
