started? it started last gen. it's pretty much complete now.
What were the big-name Western franchises last gen? GTA? Halo? Battlefield? Metroid Prime?
Whereas Japanese developers still came out with Final Fantasy X, Metal Gear Solid 2/3, The Wind Waker, Resident Evil 4, Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Tales of Symphonia, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Gran Turismo 3/4, Okami, Kingdom Hearts 1/2, yadda yadda yadda.
you haven't even played 90% of that list so why are you listing those games
nevermind the fact that you just chose to not list a whole bunch of quality Western titles
