The fact that your 25 and your dad is THAT concerned with who you're dating (and not even engaged or getting married) is kinda ridiculous. Just be like "at least she's not 15 years younger!"

Exactly....he should just be happy for me. As for your father situation...I wonder which is worse. On the one hand you barely knew your dad which is awful. On the other hand, it's not that great to know your dad and sort of lose him. Neither are good...that's for sure.
