Damn, getting cut off just because you have an older girlfriend? That's some bull, I mean what would that accomplish?
Granted I would of just countered with "You DO know it's my decision whatever or not you go to a nursing home right?", though I admit that's more effective when you're an only child.
I was always the "good child"...my brother is even less likely to take care of them than I am. I could still use it...and I should! But yeah, my relationship with my father has dissolved over the last 5 years anyway because he is a psychopath anyway...but this pretty much will end it. My brother's wife is perfect...even though she's a ***** who doesn't even like my parents at all...it's all good. So long as she's the right age, that's all that matters apparently. My girlfriend is trying her very hardest to gain approval and to always be so nice to them (which I tell her to not try any harder than the normal amount)...but she's just awful, apparently, because she's older than me!
So...why are you basically done with your father?
