I guess what I'm saying is, maybe just rank the evolutionary line as a whole, instead of just the final form.
I thought of doing this, but there would be more problems with that. The Eeveelutions are some Pokemon that I have radically different opinions about, as well as the Hitmons and a few others. Hell, let's just say a ton of middle evolutions would be dumped in the bottom 100 if I ranked em all, and call it a day.

Does your "previously final evolution" list include pokemon that used to only have one form, like Porygon?
Yes, for example, Porygon, Porygon 2, Porygon Z, Magmar, Magmortar, Rhydon, Rhyperior, Murkrow and Honchkrow are on this list.
