There's just SO much in here to discuss. So many different angles in play here. My main take-away from it was really the arrogance of the man. The idea that he says "I have to personally approve every kill" might come across as responsibility to some, but I don't think you can take credit for "taking responsibility" if you keep everything a secret and don't actually take responsibility when things go wrong (as they often have).
To me, it's more of a "I know better than everyone else" deal, which just strikes me as crazy.
The level of technology we have is scary now, though. The idea that the President of the United States can personally approve every war casualty is ****ing nuts.
