I can't remember, did the recreation room have two doors? Because Celes is saying that she took a picture before she was spotted, but also said she was spotted while she was peeking out into the recreation room from outside. Now look at the angle of the photo - you can see the door in the background. If there's only one door, I smell a lie.

Also, yeah, Celes really led them on a wild goose chase. She was the only one who allegedly saw that robot (aside from Yamada):
> When they were all on the first floor looking for them, she said she saw a shadow moving up to the 2nd floor.
> When they were all upstairs, she said she cornered it, and THEN they heard Yamada scream.
> She suggested the group split up. She went with Naegi and Asahina towards the infirmary.

If Fukawa, Togami and Oogawa don't find the robot, it's all but confirmed that she faked all of it.

Aside from that, the whole story just doesn't make any sense.
> Yamada wakes up first, goes to the third floor looking for Alter Ego. Enters the recreation room.
> Some time after, Celes wakes up; sees Justice Robo on the first floor going upstairs. Since she doesn't see Yamada, and since Yamada would have noticed a huge robot following him, we can assume that Yamada was already in the recreation room by that time.
> Robo thus decides to go spontaneously to the Recreation room.
> Celes peeks in, decides to take a picture for no ****ing reason.
> Robo sees her, leaves Yamada aside and strikes her with a hammer. Yamada does nothing for some reason, even though he's not injured or anything. Meanwhile, Celes pleads for her life. Yamada still does nothing.
> Robo decides to spare her life and moves towards the library with Yamada. Celes passes out for some reason, even though she was able to plead for her life quite convincingly a few seconds ago.
> Robo moves back to the library and strikes Yamada for absolutely no reason, then goes away.

The whole thing is just incredibly suspicious. So I think it's pretty safe to assume that the whole thing started with a Celes plot. Whether that makes her a murderer (via trap X), an accomplice (via Robo X) or just someone whose devious plan has been hijacked by a third person, I do not know. I don't think she's the actual murderer though, as it would be far too messy, but I'll guess we'll have to wait and see.
