When you're faced with competing demands from competing demographics, you have to make a choice. Either you appease the women by making games with ugly women and less violence and whatever, or you appease the men with boobs and blood. Guess which is more profitable?
I know, but Igloo was saying that if women want games to be aimed at them they should "start playing games and threaten to stop playing them." I doubt this is going to have much of an impact.
