There's a difference between people being cast because they're good looking and people who are only in the movie to begin with to be eye-candy, though. Depp and Pitt are almost never merely eye-candy in the movies they appear in. The movies where that is the case (usually chick-flicks) are the movies that a lot of men regard as terrible pieces of trash that shouldn't be made.
