This isn't really directed at you Wang, and I don't want to group multiple people's arguments together, but what I'm essentially hearing is "it should be catered towards men's sexual fantasies because it's mainly men who buy the products, and if women don't like it they shouldn't buy the product". Isn't that a bit of an unfortunate cycle?

This is a real issue, and it's by no means exclusive to games. I'm loath to use tvtropes to make any kind of serious point, but the "five-man band" thing sums it up quite well. There are 4 interesting characters with well-defined personalities, then a fifth one who has the defining personality of being female, and is usually sexualised and stereotyped in a way none of the 4 men are. There's an obvious damaging message being sent out there, at least as far as I can tell. Even the freakin' m&m characters have that dynamic going on!
