It's dumb to not enjoy a franchise just because the developers disagreed with you on the progression of a character.
This is pretty much the worst argument against not buying a cash-in I've heard. I mean, I've said hey I can respect your taste even though I don't dig it, you call mine (which makes perfect sense) dumb? C'mon now.
If this game does indeed star Kratos and pickup after GoW3, I'm sure I won't be the only one to find it that way. And you say the developers, for all we know the writers and developers of GoW4 won't even be the ones behind GoW3.
And yeah, your proposed plot on how he should never rest and will always come back from the dead to kick some ass.... well, by that logic it sounds you'd never find any sequel ever unnecessary. >_>
I mean, not to be a downer, but we're all gonna die. And that kind of plot just has no weight or resonance to it, and would be amazingly bad in this man's humble opinion.
And to be fair, it's still early, which is why I pointed it's odd some are assuming Kratos would be in this. There's no reason to assume that just yet.
