im with you here but there is a lot of research that discusses the impact of the racial makeup and jury on case outcomes. id have to go back to the literature but for black defendants i think it was that diverse juries are the most lenient, primarily black ones are more lenient than average to a black defendant, and primarily white juries depend on the jurisdiction (a mostly white one in alabama is more likely to convict a black defendant than say a jury in maine).

It only takes one reasonable black person to force a mistrial. I mean, I would agree that race may play a factor in these decisions for many people but the idea that if you took twelve random black people that all of them would base their decision entirely on racial bias strikes me as pretty racist.
