i don't really want to completely derail this topic to go on a rant about why i dislike that, but in summary:

  • he couldn't have earned that wealth without the work of tens of thousands of others who earn a fraction of what he does.
  • he couldn't have earned that wealth without the trillions of dollars worth of infrastructure his company uses to profit.
  • it's obscene to me that he makes like 3000x the amount of the actual workers do.
  • taxpayers subsidize profits for companies like Amazon when their employees are so underpaid they qualify for welfare / food stamps / etc, which is absolutely fucked.


i dont really feel like getting into a big debate over this, just summarizing my thoughts.
