Okay, I'm gonna go ahead and claim because I feel like we are gonna need a lot of time to talk this out.

I'm Ardbert, ?Third Party? Warrior of Darkness

(Yes that's how it's listed)

I am the WoL from a dying shard who sacrifices himself to save the world and those he cares about.

Once per day, I can choose one other person in the game and attempt to merge their soul with my own.

All votes reset, and the only people that can be voted for are myself, or the person I chose. If the player i chose is the Warrior of Light, the player who survives the day's lynch unlocks the power and protection of Azem. The dying player can continue to communicate with the living player through our own separate chat.

If the person I chose is NOT the WoL, either I get lynched and can't win the game, or I survive and can try again tomorrow.

The only way I can win is by finding the Warrior of Light and either taking his power or giving my power up. Once I do so, I win when town wins.

I've been playing as a townie this whole time despite my third party title because, obviously, I need town to succeed for me to have any chance of winning.

I also considered claiming as town but I figure lying is a bad way to instill faith, especially after I inevitably get lynched and flip third party.

One way or another though, I'm going to need to waste a day's lynch on having you guys either kill me, or kill Ulti. I'm not sure what the power and protection of Azem is referring to. I assumed day 1 that the survivor became bulletproof amongst other powers, but obviously, if Ulti is telling the truth, that isn't the case. (Unless we take each others powers, so maybe Ulti gets the ability to force a 1v1 vote if he lives, and I become Bulletproof if I live? Idfk)

What do you guys think is the best way to play this? I considered just stalling on claiming until as late in the game as possible, but I feel like it must unlock something good for us if it's worth wasting an entire day's lynch for.

Now that I've claimed this though, I pretty much have to do it today, otherwise I will almost certainly wake up dead on day 3.

To answer the easy and likely questions...

No, I don't know what the powers I get/give are.

No, I don't know if the powers are different depending on if I live or Ulti lives.

No, I don't know what the point of this role is, seems like a complicated and convoluted way of shoving a third party role into a game that doesn't need one. (Sorry, Ben)

I'm assuming based on Ulti's earlier post "confirming" me that his flavour includes something about being incomplete and that he needs to find me to unlock his true potential or something, but we will have to wait for Ulti to explain that.
