I get that a hate crime trial might make the Arbery family feel better but practically it won't actually do anything, would it? They can't get more life in prison. Unless it's one of those things where life means 25 years minimum and not actually life. I don't know. It would end up being a symbolic trial and i'm not a fan of that.
