A 17-year-old girl has shared an unsettling video of the moment a 'creepy' older man began harassing her in a thrift store - refusing to leave her alone and inviting her to his house, despite her explaining that she was still in her teens. Jaycie Crouse, who is from Nova Scotia, shared her video on TikTok under username @jaycie444, revealing in the clip that she was out shopping by herself when an older man approached her and told her he thought she was 'one of the most beautiful girls he had ever seen.' He then proceeded to ask her if she was engaged, or if she was single, prompting her to inform him that she is only 17, in the hopes that her young age would steer him away. However, the man, whose name and exact age is unknown, appeared unfazed by their age difference and persisted, going on to ask Jaycie if she'd like to take a job working for him 'around the house'. Jaycie shared footage of the terrifying moment to TikTok where it went viral - and in it, she warned others to stay safe. 'I started recording because this guy was being sus. I was just trying to thrift,' she wrote in the video, which began with her looking through a clothing rack. Suddenly, the man came up to her and introduced himself. He could be heard saying, 'I just think you're one of the most beautiful girls I've ever met. Can I buy one of those things for you?' Jaycie thanked the man for his offer but quickly declined. 'Are you engaged to someone or involved with someone?' he then asked her. 'No I'm not,' she responded, to which he added, 'I'm not either.'

The 17-year-old then told him her age, which didn't seem to phase the man. He switched angles and asked her if she could help him with a few tasks at his home, since he recently was bitten by a tick on his knee. 'OK, well that's a good age to be,' he replied. 'I got injured a month or so ago and my knee is kind of banged up. I got bitten by a tick actually. 'Anyway, I live out in the country and I have a bunch of stuff that I was trying to keep up with for work but it's kind of falling behind. 'I'm looking for someone to help me. It's a paying thing but it basically involves getting my stuff out of the garden and processing some things.' Thankfully, the teen said someone was calling her and was able to rush away to safety. 'There are creeps out there everybody please stay safe,' she captioned the clip, which has been viewed more than two million times. Many people took to the comment section to share their thoughts on the scary ordeal, and some compared the man to infamous serial killer Ted Bundy, who would often fake being injured to reel his victims in. 'Bringing up his injury... Ted Bundy vibes,' one person wrote. Another added: 'Remember when Ted Bundy said he was injured to get women to help him?' Others called the man 'sick' and 'terrifying,' and praised the TikToker for the way she handled it. 'I am so sorry,' someone wrote. 'I am so glad you made it out OK. This is unacceptable and terrifying.' 'She's 17 bro, walk away,' one comment read. 'Yo he gives me really sick vibes. Really dark...' a different user wrote. 'A grown man would never ask a woman, let alone an underage girl, for help with something physical,' another viewer said. 'Remember that girls! Immediate red flag.'
