| The Popo 01/25/22 11:59:10 AM #39: | I guess I fail to see what the outrage is about in this case. Is it merely the use of the term dwarves? (And if it is, I guess just naming the movie simply Snow White and not referring to them by that title would take care of that issue?) Dinklage only states that it is about 7 of them living together in a cave (which is where they actually work, but I dont think thats his actual point). I actually watched the original movie about 2-3 years ago, and I dont recall the height of the 7 dwarves being a point of ridicule. They were just a group of 7 miners who happened to be short (which seems to pull on the lore that is similar from LotR). If anything, they were a characters who took charge, and the focus was on their individual personalities more than anything. Im not saying that there is nothing to be outraged about here.
