Sometimes they all merge in a universe wide event but not always. Or sometimes they have smaller merges. Like maybe Spider-Man helps out the X-Men Didn't Marvel say awhile ago they were done with the yearly events? I remember for awhile it was one after another, secretl invasion, dark reign, seige.
