Think along the lines of knowing you're a carrier of the gene that causes Horrible Disease X, which has a 50% of making you all fucked up. If you have a child, there is a 50% chance of them getting this gene, and therefore there is a 25% chance that they come out with half a face or something. You should be required to inform a partner of this should you be aware of it.
I see. What would be a real life example of that, apart from the one you just made up?

See, it's not about harm, or "oh no I'm gay now", or any nonsense like that. It's purely about informed consent.
If it's not about harm and instead about knowing everything, then quite simply, that list you provided isn't nearly long enough. You didn't include things like income, fertility, education, living situation, ethnicity, hobbies, if they own pets, if they engage in recreational drug use, history of ALL illness (physical and mental).

If you want something non-harmful to be included in informed consent for a first-time sexual partner, then that list gets VERY big VERY quick, and are you willing to commit to that yourself?

But the person who doesn't want to have sex with a trans person?
What about the person who doesn't want to have sex with a poor person? Or an Irish person? Or a dog owner? Or a gun owner? Should this proposed law of yours cover that too?
