I'm not really sure what they should do, but lying isn't one of them.
If you have nothing constructive to add, maybe just don't post.

What you or anyone else thinks doesn't matter, no amount of mocking, shaming or lying even will change them.
The shame is theirs alone to feel for being attracted to a trans person. I'm here to say that there's no shame even necessary in that.

I've said this in other topics, but:
  • No one is going to force you to date a trans person.
  • No one is saying you cannot refuse to date a particular person for any reason including them being transgender.
What I'm seeking to prevent (hey there's that word again) is the attitudes that justify these unhealthy "it's all on the trans people to reveal they're trans" mentalities.

The first step comes with realizing it's okay to be attracted to a trans person, and it's okay to not seek to do anything further with that.

The second step is not adding to the toxicity of pretending the repulsion is on anyone but yourself.

If you don't have anything to add, don't post.
