Lots of good ideas interspersed with some really questionable ones. I'm looking at you Blood Pact. The fact that Sanaki finds a loophole but it only frees up Naesala and not everyone else thereby eliminating a good chunk of the conflict in the midgame is very ???
Is that what happened? I thought Naesala then went to slaughter all of phoenecis and thus stayed in the senate's good graces. Or do I have the order of events backwards? Either way I always attributed it more to "the senate just didn't know he help sanaki on the down low."
