so basically it's the equivalent of people using p2p to download songs back when CD sales were relevant source of income for artists. Except you're stealing art from a graduate who's probably in debt, eating top ramen, while smoking a pack of parliaments a day. But I think it's the value of marketing that gives the art it's value; not the artist's technical skills. Therefore, if someone is savvy enough to steal it and market it as a profitable NFT, then that person has earned the right to profit. If the artist was alone and wasn't selling before, would they have been able to do the same thing? Probably not.
