Oh yeah for real. Like I appreciate that they care about me, and while they push me to the absolute limit, I roll with it because they have a point. Broke a lot of boundaries this week, even though feeling out of breath and shit sucks. Don't want to let them down, I want to prove to them that I am willing to change and that I'm on that path.

The difference between day one and day two were night and day. Couldn't run 700m in one stretch, then the next day I managed to make the whole lap. The day after, I probably ran 1 kilometre unbroken. Couldn't have done it without this friend pushing me.

He's only in town for a little bit, and knowing me I'll probably drop this when he leaves. Maybe I won't, though - I'm planning to live a more active life if nothing else, less cabs. Depends if I get this job, because that's gonna consume most of my time if I get it.

idk, it's definitely a balance. I don't want to let him down, and I want to be better. But there's some stuff about my circumstances he doesn't really get, and I need to forge my own path and live my own way while taking good shit like this on board when it comes along. This is a healthy detour I might start doing regularly - there's still stuff in my life impeding my ability to progress on other fronts, hence the bitching on my end, but this is something I can manage.

idk, I'm already pretty buzzed lmao. went for a run today and all I've had are some sandwiches, a pear and some subway for dinner.
