People keep saying this like it means something. It's idealism, like everything else in fiction. You're not meant to be convinced that it's normal. You're meant to be titilated or inspired or whatever. People in fiction are idealized because if I wanted to see some fat flapjack-tittied fuck I could just go outside. If you're going to waste my time showing me someone else's life, they better at least be impressive in some way.

Of course that probably isn't even her real issue; as others have pointed out, roast beef-style vaginas are prominent in porn. A hell of a lot moreso than uncut and average-sized penises at least, which she doesn't seem to be too concerned about. That should tell you that this complaint isn't based on principle, but personal insecurity.

Saying that media is supposed to represent an ideal or that you arent supposed to be convinced that what you see is normal or average is completely meaningless. The only thing that matters is what media actually does.

What is considered attractive or unattractive is largely determined by societal norms. The media we view helps shape what features we hold up as the ideal. There is nothing inherently attractive or unattractive about foreskin, labia, or any other part of your genitals. Every society makes up features that it determines are attractive, and one of the things that helps shape those societal attitudes is you guessed it, media.

Just a tiny bit of critical thinking would get some people a long way.
