They can't handle things which defy simple labeling, so they get mad when someone they think is male is actually female or vice-versa. What triggers their fear is that labeling is a defense mechanism. When someone defies labels, it makes the transphobe uncomfortable. Again though, that's a failing on the transphobe and not the trans person. People have a right to exist. If life places them in a body they're not comfortable with, they have a right to do all that is within their power to change it. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
