I don't usually say that certain people aren't allowed to talk about certain things but this lack of awareness is silly. My own cishet white dude opinion: Comedy does the exact opposite of normalizing violence. It normalizes inclusion because they are "allowed" to be joked about. They are part of the in group and not some unspeakable pariah. Treating something as if it's forbidden is a good way to other people and keep them othered. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
