Making Zant 'crazy usurper guy' was disappointing, and Zelda and Ganon add absolutely nothing to the story and are just there because they're expected to be. Telma and the Resistance were cool but didn't do enough, and the game spends way too much time on Ilia early on for her to just fall away by midgame.
