Drivers are the middlemen in the process. What do you want, all dashers to quit? As long as there is supply and demand, there is a need for dashers.

If you dont want to use the services that is perfectly fine, but for someone who doesnt use them you sure are needlessly expending a lot of effort here in this topic for nothing.

Also, a $2 tip might be enough sometimes. This example is by no means the norm, but on random occasions DD will kick up the base pay enough to make the order worth it. See below.

I mean, I could care less of they all quit. Id rather have the actual places have their own delivery driver. That would be much better. And more places are actually getting their own these days. But its unlikely all of them will Well, anytime soon, at least Maybe they eventually will

And while its good that person got their food, it sucks other people wont. And many probably dont know why. Because some will tip well, and they may still get rejected because some dasher wants to try to make more. I think it was mentioned earlier where someone said they got one that was a decent tip, but still rejected it, and the next one was worth more. It just kind of sucks for people who have no idea why they didnt get their foodEspecially since many might not know you guys are basing how much you want in tips on distance, and some are giving a good tip, but still getting rejected because they feel they might get a higher one from someone else... Which is why restaurants having their own would be much better. Especially since that would mean people would know they are getting food, rather than pray and hope for it
