The issue is not primarily the cop who did it, but the entire system that protected the cop from any kind of meaningful consequence. That's not a bad cop, that's an entire support network of cops who protect bad cops. Shit happens in my work too. A guy got fired a few months ago for inappropriately flirting with other employees.
