Even then, do we have any sort of long-term data on what maintaining an EV looks like from 100k to 200k+ miles? I can have a transmission rebuild for a few grand and most regular car parts are pretty cheap because of volume. Plus pretty much any mechanic can work on a regular car so there's lots of competition.
