I wanted to go hybrid/electric, but when researching the model of car I wanted I found that the batteries only last 6-10 years. The only hybrid/electric of the model car I wanted were from 2015-2017. As someone who doesn't really know cars, I didn't want the additional headache of having to replace a $3000 battery anytime soon. $3000 would be on the low end.
