Dont people get tired of trying to say fast food workers should earn a living wage? No, they shouldnt. People need to take responsibly for their damn lives and stop blaming the system. Nope. You're devaluing the act of being a cook in any capacity because of the societal status implications of such a job. Sorry, but working as a fry cook or line cook or prep bitch in a kitchen should pay a living wage. Tehre shouldn't be one route to a professional chef, that being culinary school. You should be able to start at the bottom and work your way up, too, by paying attention and learning. Some celebrity chefs started on the bottom rung and worked their ways up in the 70's and 80's.
