Ok my questionpeople are justifying them following her to her home to get the plates butif they were following her they could have easily gotten the plates on the way without having to stop there.

lets be honest, some motorcyclists are assholes and they hold grudges. Obviously in this case their anger would be justified, but its likely they stopped at her house to do more than just get the plates. They had all witnesses in their side. All they had to do was take down the plates while they followed and leave. But they stayed there long enough for her to park, get inside, see them, and come back out with a gun?
I think I can explain a bit of this. I've read hit and run reports and a lot of the time, the victim attempts to follow the other car, but can't, because the other car is aggressively trying to lose them and is speeding through traffic. You can't simply "write down their plate" in a situation like that. So they were trying to get her to stop and wait for police, realized she wasn't going to stop, so they called the police while making sure they didn't lose sight of her.

I guarantee she was aware that they were following her. So she didn't casually get out of her car, notice they were there, and then decide to get a gun. It sounds like the time between getting to her house and coming back out with a gun was quick.
