And yes, I think someone who shows up to a protest with a weapon with the intent to "defend" Something that isn't theirs should be found guilty.

You should advocate for changing the laws first, I think. If it was illegal for him to be there and openly carry, we would probably be looking at a different outcome.

You want to send someone away for life for doing something they were legally allowed to do?

I will say it was bad judgement on his part. Not something I would personally do. But life in prison for defending yourself? Not gunna fly with me
