I was very young so I can't remember much but it had different alien world levels and humanoid monsters that you had to avoid. This was in the 90's or 2001ish Also its not a sidescroller like commander keen this was from top down view or a side angle top down view kinda. It looked more mature. The stages were like puzzles and yet like an adventure at the same time. Have you seen Echochrome? Think stages and a camera view like that except you couldn't rotate the camera to change things.
