A TikTok user has revealed they got their boyfriends name inked down their spine in giant letters just one week before they broke up. Ashlyn Grace who uses they/them pronouns took to the social media app last week to share a story about the enormous inking. The 21-year-old posted a video set to the Lizzo track Rumors, accompanied by text which read: I heard you got a tattoo of your exs name and yall broke up a week later. Graces followers flooded the comments section of the video, asking to inspect the ink. The youngster was happy to oblige, and in a follow-up clip, pulled up their top to reveal the tat. Dont be alarmed, its a bit big, Grace stated just seconds before the big reveal. Viewers were left stunned by the word ALEXANDER stretching all the way down Graces spine, from the tip of their neck to the top of their tailbone.

Not the Times New Roman size 48 font! Why?! one aghast follower exclaimed. The tattoo artist who did this needs to be put in federal prison, an appalled viewer chimed in. Others stated Grace should get the surname of a famous Alexander added to the base of the tattoo so that it was no longer an ode to an ex. Some suggestions included Alexander Graham Bell, Alexander Hamilton and even Alexander the Great. However despite attracting the ire of many of the 7.2 million people who watched the clip Grace said they dont regret the tattoo at all. Almost a year later and I still dont regret it. Its been 11 months [and] I still have no ideas or any desire to find a cover-up artist, they stated. Its unclear whether Grace is still on good terms with Alexander. Meanwhile, Grace isnt the only TikToker to go viral after showing off a badly timed tat. Earlier this year, a user revealed a very awkward tattoo she had inked just before the coronavirus pandemic. The woman, who posts under the handle @wakaflockafloccar, posted a now-viral video in which she showed off her tattoo, which read: Courageous and radically, refuse to wear a mask. She stated: So I got this tattoo Ive wanted it for a couple of years it basically means being, like, true to yourself and real and not pretending to be something youre not [but] I could NOT have had worse timing. P.S. Im not anti-mask I promise.
